Rules

  • Two restriction enzyme coolers are in -20C over the Quanta bay, one labeled common.
  • Only common enzymes may have backup, which are stored in main -20C.
  • Common enzymes: AgeI, AleI, ApaI, AvrII, BamHI, DpnI, EcoRI, EcoRV, HindIII, MfeI, NotI, SacI, SacII, SalI, XbaI, XhoI
  • The enzymes not listed are in the non-common enzyme cooler.
  • If the enzyme is available in HF form, only the HF form will be in the backup unless otherwise requested.
  • When the working stock has been used up, replace with a new tube from the backup cooler and write the enzyme on the whiteboard.
  • Backup ligases and CIP are also in the backup cooler in main -20C.
